Don't just slice the first rope you see — take half a second to look at the angle the ball's hanging at, because that tells you exactly where it's going to swing once it's free. A lot of levels hide their trickiest cans off to the side, so sometimes the smart move is cutting a secondary rope first to build up momentum before you go for the kill shot. If a level's got multiple ropes strung together, try to think one step ahead instead of cutting on instinct; the ball's arc changes the second gravity kicks in, and overcorrecting mid-swing rarely ends well. Early levels are forgiving, but the later ones start stacking cans at awkward heights and angles, so pay attention to timing rather than just aiming.
