Why Nudging The Table Is Riskier Than It Looks

New players discover the nudge button and use it constantly. Veterans use it sparingly, and that restraint is exactly why they don't tilt out of a good ball.

Every table has a hidden tilt threshold. Nudging too often or too hard eventually locks the flippers entirely, which usually costs more than the save was worth.

Small nudges do more than big ones. A gentle tap redirects a ball just enough without pushing the tilt meter anywhere near its limit - the temptation to nudge hard is almost always the wrong call.

Timing beats force. Nudging right as the ball approaches a gap works better than a stronger nudge a moment too late or too early.

None of this needs a physical table to feel real - the tilt mechanic works the same with a keyboard shortcut or a screen tap.
